Friendly Lion Cake
Kids love this Friendly Lion Cake. Delicious home made chocolate sponge covered with buttercream icing.
Boat Cakes
Chocolate sponge baked in a boat shaped tin, covered with buttercream icing.
Rectangle Cakes
This versatile cake is a great choice for any occasion and can be made with your choice of covering and decoration.
The cake on the left is inspired by popular kids TV show, In the Night Garden.
It is covered with thick white chocolate and has a picture of Upsy Daisy in fondant icing.
The centre cake is decorated with white and pink buttercream for a baby girl's 1st birthday.
The cake on the right was created for a Christmas party at Gerrards Cross Montessori School.
It features their squirrel logo in fondant icing surrounded by holly leaves and berries.
Circle Cakes
Simple circular cakes are available in several sizes. The first cake is covered with white buttercream and sprinkled with chocolate stars. The second is covered with light pink fondant with dark pink hearts, white stars and Disney Princess figurines. The third is covered with bi-colour pink and white buttercream rosettes.
The next cake has bi-colour orange and pink buttercream decoration, while the final one has a simple and elegant white buttercream coating covered with pink buttercream roses.
Doll Cakes
Perfect for a girl's birthday, these beautiful doll cakes are made from delicious chocolate sponge, carved to shape. A 12-inch doll is inserted from the top and then decorated with fondant icing.
The Rapunzel cake wears a purple fondant dress with pink details. The Ariel cake has a pink dress adorned with hand-made flowers. Both are finished with a hand-painted petticoat.
Black Forest Gâteau (Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte)
One of my favourite treats. Multiple layers of soft chocolate sponge infused with cherry liqueur covered with fresh whipped cream, chocolate flakes and sweet black cherries.
Available in various shapes and sizes.
Butterfly Cake
A beautiful butterfly-shaped cake for a girl's birthday. Chocolate sponge decorated with rose pink and turquoise buttercream.
Easter Cakes
These are both based on a 9-inch chocolate sponge cakes with chocolate buttercream basketweave on the sides.
The cake on the left is covered with milk chocolate and topped with a nest of Cadburys flake.
The other is topped with a grassy green buttercream and decorated with mini eggs and fluffy easter chicks.
Octonauts Cakes
A perfect birthday cake for any young octonauts fan. The cakes on either side are 9 inch round chocolate cakes covered with fondant icing depicting Captain Barnacles or Kwazii and the GUP-B or any other design you want.
The picture in the centre is an enormous 3-dimensional Octopod cake weighing several kilos. This was a huge project involving a custom made stand of wood, plastic and copper pipe. The main body of the Octopod is made up of three 9 inch chocolate sponge cakes, carved to shape, while each of the 4 arms contains a chocolate muffin. The entire cake is covered in fondant icing and decorated with small plastic sea creatures
Fresh Fruit Cake
An indulgent dessert for a summer's day. This small 5-inch square cake is made from light fluffy eggless sponge covered with fresh whipped cream and topped with fresh grapes, strawberries and kiwi fruit.
In The Night Garden Cake
Inspired by every toddler's favourite TV show. A chocolate cake and a vanilla cake, covered with green fondant and edible flower decorations. Igglepiggle and Upsy daisy dance on the larger cake while Macca Pacca arranges his stones and the Tombliboos wave at the Ninky Nonk.
Subaru Alcyone SVX Cakes
The cake the right started out as a rectangle cake before being carved into the shape of a Subaru Alcyone SVX sports car and then covered in fondant icing. The headlights were made of vegetarian jelly sweets with bright white LEDs behind them powered by concealed wires leading to an external power suppy.
The cake on the left is an 8-inch square chocolate cake covered with fondant icing depicting an SVX. The sides are decorated with chocolate stars.
Moshi Monsters Cake
This is one of my large rectangle cakes, made with eggless vanilla sponge, filled with buttercream and strawberry jam then decorated with fondant icing.

Fairy Tale Castle Cake
This amazing pink fairy tale castle was made from two 12-inch hexagon cakes and two 5-inch square cakes. It was covered with pink fondant and embossed with a brick pattern. The spires were covered with purple fondant and glitter. The garden to the rear is in green buttercream and the cobbled yard at the front is made of chocolate. The finishing touch is a prince and princess with a horse-drawn carriage.
Piano and Music Score Cakes
These cakes were made to celebrate success in piano exams. The Piano keys are made from fingers of KitKat and KitKat Chunky. The music score cake shows
an extract of one of the actual pieces played for the exam.
Piped buttercream flowers using Russian Nozzles
These colourful floral cakes were made to experiment with Russian piping nozzles.
Printed icing sheet cakes
These cakes are topped with an edible printed icing sheet and finished with piped buttercream trim.
Muffins and Cupcakes
Delicious spongy chocolate muffins topped with chocolate buttercream frosting. Perfect with a nice cup of tea or coffee.
Beautifully moist red velvet muffins smothered with vanilla buttercream frosting. Topped with raspberries to make them extra yummy.
